About Me
I always mention that I grew up in a mulberry tree. Only recently has the significance of this revealed itself to me. Sticks, stones, seeds, bones, I am inspired by organic shapes and have imprints of world wonders in my head and picture books from my youth.
I am an abstract painter with a brain full of childhood images bursting to come out, sometimes they even sneak out in children's illustrations. It is only upon the discovery of abstract painting that I am able to pierce a hole and allow everything to come flowing out of my brain.

Abstraction: Making a picture of something that doesn't exist? Making nothing that exists? Feeling manifest? Symbolism? A celebration of materials? Contrast and experimentation? Tactile indulgence?

My expression of love for the planet.
I never had the confidence to produce my own work, opting throughout my career to work as a producer and assistant director for creatives all over the world. Now, after half a century on this earth, I am able to explore myself, the good and the bad, through materials and I am constantly motivated by love.
Every piece is made with contemplation and intention.
I have no idea where this journey goes from here but I thank you for being part of it with me!
